About Ms. Griego

I am so happy to be here at Sunset Valley Elementary as your counselor. Some of the duties I perform on campus are teaching guidance lessons in classrooms and working with students both individually and in small groups. A few of my other responsibilities as counselor include serving as the campus Student Council Sponsor, making mental health referrals, assisting families with basic needs resources, and serving as the campus advocate for the Gifted and Talented program. I am also proud to facilitate are the Christmas Giving Tree event, Winter Coat Drive, College and Career Day, Red Ribbon Week, Around the Block event, and transition support for our 5th grade families moving on to middle school.
