Welcome to Sunset Valley Elementary, where we are dedicated to creating a vibrant, inclusive community that nurtures the potential of every student. My name is Elaine Navarro, and I am proud to serve as the principal of this extraordinary school.
Since starting my journey in education in 2008, I have been passionate about fostering bilingualism, equity, and high expectations for all. At Sunset Valley, we celebrate the rich cultural and linguistic diversity of our students, empowering them to become confident leaders in a global society. Bilingual education is at the heart of what we do because we believe that embracing two languages opens doors to greater opportunities and understanding.
As a collaborative leader, I strive to bring together teachers, staff, and families to create systems that support academic, social, and emotional success for every child. By working as a community, we ensure that each student feels valued and inspired to reach their highest potential. Through innovative teaching, professional growth for educators, and strong partnerships, we build an environment where learning flourishes for everyone.
