School Tours and Transition Resources at Our New Schools
Even if you're not going to Odom, now's a good time to join your next school's PTA. The Transition Resources for Odom, Boone and Cunningham has links to join the PTA, school tour dates, and community events.
Confused about the school acceptance email?
You’re not alone—many parents who got the email from the district regarding your school next year are trying to figure it out. What does “matched” mean, how do you accept the offer, what’s the next step? In short, if you’re matched with your desired school as most of us are, the next step is to wait until March 13 when you can accept your offer at Enroll Austin. If you haven’t enrolled yet but want to get into the Odom Dual Language program, apply during Round 2, which starts Monday, February 16. Email enroll@austinisd.org for help.

Last-minute spring break camps
ATX Ballers does afterschool basketball classes on campus; Home Court has another great spring break camp. It's hard to beat YMCA on cost and coverage. If you have any other suggestions or questions for other parents, drop them in our SVE WhatsApp community or our Facebook group.

We also invite you to join us on Saturday, March 1st, for Garden Day. It’s a great opportunity to come together, connect, and contribute to our school’s outdoor spaces. Cheetah Spotlight - Week 19: January 13th-17th
A quick reminder for all science fair participants: Please submit your projects by Tuesday, January 16th. This will give teachers time to review them and allow for in-class presentations before they are viewed by our judges. We can’t wait to see all the creative and innovative ideas our students have worked on!
